ABC Fire Incorporated's Story
ABC Fire Extinguisher Company was founded in April of 1983 by three Strongsville firefighters. Working part time on the weekends the firefighters serviced portable fire extinguishers for businesses in the local Strongsville area. They had one truck and worked out of a garage for refilling extinguishers. Approximately 3 years later in December of 1986, Richard Watson purchased the company and changed the name to ABC Fire Incorporated. The rest is history.
Today ABC Fire Inc. is a multi-million dollar company employing 30 full and part time employees. ABC has a fleet of 18 mobile service trucks on 24 hour call servicing fire extinguishers, fire alarms, sprinklers, restaurant and industrial fire systems, special hazard systems, foam systems, low and high pressure CO2 systems, antifreeze and deluge systems. ABC Fire has a full time installation department that is state and factory certified and is capable of engineering and installing any type of fire protection system including CO2, dry chemical, wet chemical, FM-200, foam, water, and explosion systems.
ABC Fire has serviced over 50,000 customers including over 10,000 homes, businesses, and industrial customers in Ohio over the past 30 years. We adopted our company motto in 1992, "The Fire Safety Professionals". Working together as a team there is nothing we cannot accomplish.
